The Flow Retreat

The Flow Retreat centers on movement as a pathway to mind–body connection. This format includes a variety of movement styles—beyond just yoga—ranging from energizing, strength-based flow to slower, restorative movement. Each session is thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are and support how you feel in your body.

The Power of Movement in Your Transformation

Our Flow Retreats are designed for those who want to reconnect through movement—building awareness, strength, and presence by moving the body with intention.

Unlike our Signature retreats, which blend coaching, movement, and adventure, Flow Retreats are centered entirely around movement. This format weaves together a variety of movement styles—from energizing flows to slower, restorative sessions—creating space to tune in, move freely, and reconnect with how your body feels.

Types of Movement You’ll Experience

We are so excited to expand our Flow Retreats to include a wider range of movement modalities—led by an incredible lineup of co-hosts and facilitators. These retreats are designed to help you explore movement in new ways, reconnect with your body, and experience the joy of moving with intention.

Through thoughtfully programmed sessions, you’ll move through a variety of styles and movement experiences that support balance, mobility, and overall strength. Each retreat is a chance to try something new, feel energized in your body, and discover what movement feels best for you.

The Foundation of Our Flow

Before expanding into new movement modalities, our retreat experiences began with yoga. This practice laid the groundwork for how we think about movement, awareness, and connection—and it remains a core part of the Flow Retreat experience. These are the types of yoga you can expect on a Flow Retreat:

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Yoga, otherwise known sometimes as “flow yoga”, is an invigorating movement based practice. You can expect relaxing stretches, intense core exercises, dynamic postures that flow from one part of the mat to the other, all building up a good sweat that detoxes the body, gets the heartbeat running, releases endorphins and leaves you feeling exhilarated and accomplished.

Meditation & Pranayama (Breathwork)

These practices will always have a space in all of the styles Jose teaches as these are the core and centering pillars of yoga. Expect every practice to have a small or significant mediation that will prepare the mind for what the body will experience and a breath practice that will empower the body to be present and resilient to the work ahead.

Yin & Restorative Flow

Yin and Restorative yoga will go hand in hand where these practices offer a much more cooling and therapeutic experience than Vinyasa. These practices  help slow down and calm the nervous system and to find a lot of ease in the mind and relax tension in the body.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is the art of psychic sleep. We come into a very welcoming and relaxing reclined position where you are guided into a restful meditation that is meant to connect you to your body and your mind to fully prepare you for sleep and to leave you feeling peace and calm in your mind.

Experience Movement and Evolve Your Yoga and Movement Practice around the World

In our Flow retreats, the emphasis and focus is all on movement primarily through the yoga practice and teachings. We go through topics and experience different practices seen in specified workshops and/or trainings.

  • Flow through the Chakra System: Understanding the meaning and connecting to certain chakras during the flow to find deeper inward balance.
  • Evolve Your Inversions: Hands on assisted workshops to help give you the foundations and tools to safely learn headstand, forearm stand and handstand.
  • The Rest of Yoga: Enjoy a beautifully serene and supported practice meant to help stretch and lengthen the body along with myofascial release exercises to help release tense and sore muscles.
  • Power of Pranayama: In power of Pranayama we go through different breath practices that offer a variety of benefits to the body such as clarity in the mind, cleansing the body and invigorating the nervous system.
